White Chicken Chilli

It took me awhile to try this recipe when my sister gave it to me... but it has become an absolute favorite!! You guys will love it... don't just pass this by. I always make bread bowls to go with it (and 1/2 the recipe).. yum!
1 lb chicken breasts cubed
1 med. onion chopped
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 Tb oil
2 cans (15 1/2 oz each) Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (14 1/2 oz) chicken broth
2 cans (4 0z each) chopped green chilies
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground oregano
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup whipping cream

In lrg saucepan, saute chicken, onion and garlic powder in oil until chicken is no longer pink. Add beans, broth, chilies, and seasonings. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to simmer uncovered for 30 mins. Remove from the heat, stir in sour cream and whipping cream. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired. Serves 6.

I have this same recipe with some slight variations and we LOVE it. It smells so yummy when making it, but I think 3-5 days later when you can still smell the spices it's too much. I still keep making it!
